G N Roadster Show – M/cycles

The Grand National Roadster Show – Motorcycles section contains some of Southern California’s finest custom motorcycles. Harley, Triumph, Honda, Kawasaki and Ducati motorcycles were all represented at this event. Also inside the NHRA Museum, a small number of race bikes were on display. In the pavillion with the main motorcycle show, the organizers of the Born Free Show had a display with both the Generator Shovel raffle prize bikes they were planning to give away to lucky winners at their massive free event, held June 30th at Oak Canyon Ranch, California.

The current owners of the “Trackmaster” frame company, had a prototype street/dirt tracker on display powered by an Evo Big Twin. A Vincent was on a trade stand advertising Motorcycle Swap Meets with an Aermacchi Dirt Track Racer and another trade stand offering new 400 X 19 vintage style drag slicks featured a 650 twin Triumph drag bike from the 50’s. The “Grey Ghost” Bonneville salt flats racing Triumph was on display and a late model land speed record chaser, the Ack Attack which has two turbo charged Suzuki motors.

We hope you enjoy the images below from the 2012 event we were lucky enough to attend with SOCAL nitro Harley drag racer and Bonneville World Record holder, Bill Chambers.
