S&S Gear Drive Cams for 103’s

If you’ve got a bike with a Harley-Davidson® Twin Cam 103™ engine, and you’re looking for a way to squeeze some extra juice out of it, S&S has just what you need. We’ve put together a selection of bolt-in cams with two new grinds and one current favourite that will produce amazing results in an otherwise stock 103” engine with performance intake and exhaust. Whether you’re looking for low-end torque, overall performance, or the best top end horsepower, we’ve got it!

If you’re looking for stump pulling torque, the proven performance S&S 551 cams are still your best bet. The 551 cams have been around for a while, and they’ve proven themselves to be perfect for heavy baggers and trailer towing.

The new S&S MR103 cams are for the rider who wants more of everything across the entire rpm range! They were designed to improve overall performance, with a wide, flat power band that starts right off idle and keeps on pulling right up to the rev limit. You won’t have to trade low end torque for high rpm horsepower, or vice versa. The MR103 cams produce more area under the power curve for maximum overall performance improvement.

If you’re hungry for horsepower, the all-new HP103 cams will satisfy your appetite for excitement. Take a look at the dyno chart. Over a hundred horsepower and a hundred foot-pounds of torque from an otherwise stock 103” engine. Go daddy go!

If your hunger for horsepower goes beyond what these bolt-in cams can deliver, we have the S&S 635HO cams. These high lift cams are perfect for S&S CNC ported cylinder heads with the .650″ lift valve springs. Not for the faint of heart!

At S&S, we grind our own cams in house at our factory near the village of Viola, Wisconsin, USA. By doing our own cam grinding, we’re able to keep tight quality controls on the process. S&S is also able to develop cam designs quickly with state of the art computer software, in house manufacturing, and a robust testing program.
